Terms

- Without SSDs, Umbrel Pro costs €599; with one 2TB drive €879, with two €1,159 and with four €1,719 (umbrel.com, read 16 August 2026; base price seen again on 29 September 2026).
- Umbrel ships at most 8TB pre-installed. The four M.2 2280 slots take larger drives, but you buy and fit those yourself.
- When we checked from the Netherlands (29 September 2026), umbrel.com showed the price in euros including VAT and import duties, with free delivery to the Netherlands in five to eight days. Check umbrel.com to see whether that applies to your country.
- FailSafe spreads your data across several drives, so it costs usable storage; Umbrel does not publish which RAID level it uses.
- umbrelOS itself is free: you only pay for the hardware. For just a Bitcoin node this device is oversized; that also runs on a Raspberry Pi.
