Network fees for sending to your own wallet come on top; they depend on the coin and network. ‘Unknown’ means the platform doesn’t state an amount on its public page; with a card, such a platform is listed last. For ‘buy and sell later’ we use the same price both ways: price gains or losses are not included. Fees checked on 30 October 2026, for each platform’s European entity.

Good to know about each platform

Finst:
No markup built into the price. Euro withdrawals are free, with no minimum, and usually arrive within a few minutes.
OKX:
Calculated with the trading fee on the exchange (spot order book). If you buy or sell in the app with Buy/Sell or Convert, you pay a spread instead, which OKX does not publish.
Kraken Pro:
The regular Kraken app charges 1% plus spread. Euro withdrawals cost €1, with a minimum withdrawal of €2.
Crypto.com:
Crypto.com lists 0.80% for buying only. Its European fee table does not include a selling fee; the app shows it before you sell. The minimum euro withdrawal is €80, and you can only withdraw after a first deposit into your euro account.
Blox:
The first euro withdrawal each month is free, then €0.35 per withdrawal. You cannot send coins to a wallet of your own at BLOX.
Bybit:
Based on Bybit EU (bybit.eu) fees. Card purchases go through One-Click Buy: no payment fee, but 1.30% built into the price, or 1.80% outside office hours and at weekends; the calculation uses 1.80%. Fees for deposits and withdrawals by bank transfer are shown only in the app.
eToro:
1% when buying and 1% when selling. At eToro, crypto is denominated in dollars: if you sell to your euro account, a 0.75% conversion fee is added (Club members pay less). Withdrawing from your euro account costs €0.

How crypto costs work

Maker & taker fees

Order-book platforms charge a percentage per trade: the maker fee when you add liquidity (limit order), the taker fee when you buy instantly (market order). Our calculator uses the entry-tier taker fee — rates drop at higher monthly volumes.

Spread: the invisible cost

Apps without an order book (like the standard Kraken app) build a markup into the buy and sell price: the spread. You don't see it as a separate fee, but you do pay it. For larger or frequent purchases, an order-book platform is usually cheaper.

Deposit and withdrawal costs

SEPA deposits are free at most of the platforms compared; card payments cost an extra 1.5% to around 4%. For crypto withdrawals you pay the network fee, and some platforms add a fixed charge on top. Always check the current fee page before large transactions.

How to save smartly

Use limit orders where possible (lower maker fee), deposit via SEPA instead of card, and always compare for amounts above €1,000 — the difference between 0.10% and 0.50% is already €20 per purchase at €5,000.
