Up to 58% off seven miners at MineShop
Seven miners at MineShop are up to 58% off on 27 August 2026, and code CRYPTOCODES stacks another 3% on top of the sale price. All prices exclude VAT.

MineShop has seven miners marked down on 27 August 2026, by anywhere from 9 to 58 per cent. The code CRYPTOCODES takes another 3 per cent off on top of that, and it stacks on the sale price — we checked it at the checkout. Every price in this shop is excluding VAT; that’s the first figure you need to correct before you compare anything.
The seven models in the sale
The brands behind those models: Canaan makes the Avalons, Bitmain the Antminers.
Alongside those, two more deals run on their own codes, separate from ours: the Avalon Mini 3 (37.5 Th/s, 750 W) drops from €819.87 to €720 with code EA99, and the Avalon Nano 3S (6 Th/s, 140 W) from €255.87 to €205 with code EA50.
What CRYPTOCODES actually does
Three per cent, and it stacks on the sale price. We checked that on a single order, and this is what it looked like:
From list price to this subtotal, that is 41.8 per cent off. The code accounts for 3 percentage points of that; the sale does the rest. None of which is a reason to leave the code unused — €5.40 is €5.40 — but it is a reason not to present it as the main event.
Two things still come on top of that subtotal. The VAT: €174.47 excluding becomes €211.11 in the Netherlands, including 21 per cent, and every amount in the table above gets the same treatment. And the shipping, which depends on the size of the package and the destination country and which MineShop only works out in the basket — which makes sense, because a five-kilo miner to the Netherlands is not the same thing as a Bitaxe to Portugal.
The catch: the steepest discounts are on machines you can’t house at home
Look at the three biggest discounts again. 58 per cent off a machine that draws 3.76 kilowatts. 53 per cent off 5.37 kilowatts. 52 per cent off 5.67 kilowatts. These are not appliances you tuck into a meter cupboard; that is the connection capacity of a good part of a house.
Here is what a machine like that costs in electricity per month, running around the clock:
The S21+ Hydro costs €2,899.87 after the discount. At €0.30 per kilowatt hour, the electricity bill overtakes the €3,300 you saved on it in just under three months. The discount is real; it is simply small next to what the machine goes on to consume.
MineShop says as much itself. Its own “frequently asked questions” state that home mining generally does not add up at €0.30 per kilowatt hour, and that at €0.20 only the most efficient models break even. That is the seller talking, not a critic. We worked that out in Buying an ASIC miner from MineShop, and anyone who wants to run the numbers on their own situation can turn to our heat calculator.
The small solo miners are something other than an investment
The €74.87 Bitaxe and the €179.87 NerdQaxe are the nicest buys on this list, but not because they make money. A Bitaxe does 1.2 Th/s against a network that counts in petahashes per second. The odds of a device like that finding a block of its own are very small, and there is no reason whatsoever to assume it ever will.
What it does do: turn 17 watts into heat and a ‘lottery ticket’, for four euros of electricity a month. If you enjoy that, you are buying something enjoyable. If you are after a return, you are buying the wrong device. There is more on that difference — and on how we go about it ourselves — in our piece on the solo mining pool.
The revenue figures the shop displays per model are the shop’s own estimates. They move with the price and the difficulty, and they are not a commitment.
Who this does make sense for
- You have a connection and a tariff that can carry it. A business supply, your own generation, or an off-peak rate below €0.15. That changes the sums above materially.
- You are after heat plus a lottery ticket. The small models use less electricity per month than a kettle, and they give that energy back as heat.
- You were buying anyway. If the model was already on your list, this is a cheaper moment, and you take the 3 per cent from the code along with it.
Who it is not for
- You are counting on monthly earnings from a domestic connection at an ordinary electricity rate. The shop itself says that generally does not add up.
- You are comparing on price with other shops. Compare including VAT and including shipping, or you are comparing two different numbers.
Frequently asked questions
Does CRYPTOCODES work on products that are already in the sale?
Yes. On the order we went through, the sale price came off first and the code was then calculated over the lower amount.
How much does the code save?
Three per cent. On an order of €179.87, that came to €5.40.
Are the prices inclusive of VAT?
No. Everything at MineShop is listed excluding VAT. €174.47 excluding becomes €211.11 including, in the Netherlands.
How long does the sale run?
The shop does not say. There is no end date given on the marked-down models.
What does shipping cost?
That depends on the size of the package and the destination country. MineShop only works it out in the basket, so you see the amount before you check out, but not on the product page.
What we could not establish
- Whether the 3 per cent from CRYPTOCODES is the same on every product. We checked one order.
- The end date of the sale. It is not stated anywhere.
- The shipping costs. They depend on the size of the package and the destination country and are only calculated in the basket.
- Whether the codes EA99 and EA50 can be combined with CRYPTOCODES. Webshops usually allow one code per order, but that is not stated either.
All prices, discounts and the effect of the code were checked on 27 August 2026 at mineshop.eu. The only primary source for these daily prices is the shop itself. Power draw and hashrate come from the product listings; the electricity costs in the table are our own calculation for continuous operation, 24 hours a day, 30 days a month. Prices and discounts can change — what the checkout shows is what counts.
This article is price information and not investment advice. Mining offers no guaranteed return; earnings depend on the price, the difficulty and your electricity tariff, and can come in below the costs. Links to partners may be affiliate links; that costs you nothing extra.
