After 28 December 2026 at 03:00 UTC, Binance will no longer support withdrawals of Epic Chain (EPIC) and QuickSwap (QUICK). That is 04:00 Dutch time. Trading in both tokens already stopped on 28 October 2026, and deposits have no longer been credited since 29 October. This is according to Binance's announcement of 14 October 2026. At the time of writing, on 6 November 2026, there are 52 days left.

Binance, EPIC and QUICK in short

  • Withdraw until 28 December 2026, 03:00 UTC. After that, Binance no longer supports withdrawals of EPIC and QUICK. In the Netherlands that is 04:00 (winter time, UTC+1).
  • Trading stopped on 28 October 2026, 03:00 UTC. All spot pairs with EPIC and QUICK were closed then. Open orders were removed and trading bots on these pairs were stopped.
  • Deposits are no longer possible. Deposits are no longer credited from 29 October 2026, 03:00 UTC.
  • Remaining balance. On or after 29 December 2026, 03:00 UTC, Binance may convert whatever is left into stablecoins. According to the announcement this is not guaranteed; a separate notice will follow.
  • Already dealt with: futures, margin, loans, Simple Earn and Spot Copy Trading were closed or settled automatically between 15 and 21 October.
  • The downside: if you do nothing, you lose the choice. You can no longer sell the tokens on Binance, only withdraw them.
  • No reason given. The announcement does not say why Binance is delisting these two tokens.

Binance's timeline

All times come from Binance's announcement and are in UTC. Since 25 October 2026 the Netherlands has been on winter time, so add one hour.

Between the end of trading (28 October) and the end of withdrawals (28 December) there are 61 days. Since 29 October nothing can come in, so the period in which you can only withdraw is 60 days.

Where is your balance now?

If you still hold EPIC or QUICK on your Binance account, they are in your spot wallet. According to the announcement, the values of the tokens in your account are no longer shown after trading ends. So turn off ‘hide small balances’ in the app, or you may not see them. That is a display setting for your balance, not a withdrawal.

If you held EPIC or QUICK in another Binance feature, that has already been taken care of:

  • Simple Earn: fixed and flexible positions were redeemed automatically and returned to your spot balance.
  • Futures: positions in these tokens were closed and settled automatically on 20 October.
  • Margin: isolated positions were closed and settled. For cross margin and portfolio margin, collateral was first used to repay debts. The remainder was sold for USDT or USDC.
  • Spot Copy Trading: remaining tokens were sold at market price or, where that was not possible, moved to your spot balance.
  • Binance Pool: support for mining ended on 20 October 2026; the final payout followed the next day.

What can you do?

  1. Check whether you hold either token. Open your spot balance at Binance and search for EPIC and QUICK. Make small balances visible.
  2. Withdraw before 28 December 03:00 UTC. Withdraw to a wallet whose keys you control yourself, or to another exchange that trades the token. First check that the wallet or exchange supports the token and the network: the wrong network can cost you your balance. You will find help choosing on our page choosing a crypto wallet.
  3. Test with a small amount. If you are using an address for the first time, send a small amount first and the rest afterwards. Withdrawals carry network fees; Binance shows them before you confirm.
  4. Don't wait until the last day. If a withdrawal gets stuck, you will have no time left to fix it on 28 December.
  5. Also check the withdrawal status at Binance. After the hack of 29 October, withdrawals were halted for a while and have been resumed step by step. Read our article Binance withdrawals reopen: what proof of reserves shows. Whether EPIC and QUICK withdrawals currently work on each network, you can see in your own account.
  6. Don't hold any EPIC or QUICK? Then you don't need to do anything.

This is not the only Binance deadline this autumn. We covered the stablecoin Pax Dollar, which you can withdraw until 24 November, in Binance USDP withdraw: deadline is 24 November.

What does doing nothing cost?

Binance names no price, no stablecoin and no method for a possible conversion. So nobody knows in advance what you would get back. The announcement only says that conversion is possible and not guaranteed. If it fails, Binance says withdrawals stay open as far as the networks allow. Don't count on it: withdrawing before 28 December is the only route where you decide for yourself what happens to your tokens.

What does this mean for you as a European investor?

Across Europe. The announcement names no countries. So assume it applies to all Binance customers, including in the EEA, and check your account.

Tax. If Binance sells or swaps a token for you, that can be a taxable event in your country. Whether a withdrawal to your own wallet counts as a sale differs from country to country. The overview per country is on crypto tax in Europe. Treat it as explanation, not advice.

Custody. If you left your tokens on the exchange, the exchange decides what happens. If you withdraw to your own wallet, you keep that in your own hands.

What it doesn't say. A delisting says nothing about the safety of the rest of your balance, and not that a project has failed. It only says that Binance no longer offers these tokens.

What is not certain yet

  • Whether Binance will convert. The announcement says conversion into stablecoins is possible, not guaranteed, and that a separate notice will follow. Which stablecoin and at what rate is stated nowhere.
  • The reason. The announcement gives no reason for the delisting.
  • Dual Investment. According to the announcement, Binance stops accepting new Dual Investment subscriptions on the next Friday at 08:00. The exact date is not in the text we read.
  • Per country. The announcement names no countries or exceptions.
  • Checking at the source. Binance's page returned an error on a direct request; we read the announcement through a tool that summarises the content. The dates and times match those of several news sites, but check them on Binance's own page before you withdraw.

This article is not investment advice. Crypto can lose a lot of value and you can lose your entire stake.
