Ethereum ETFs see record outflows – ETH under pressure
Ethereum drops to €1,650–€1,750 after heavy outflows from spot Ethereum ETFs. Whales are distributing positions, but long-term holders are accumulating in this phase.
Ethereum (ETH) is having a hard time in June 2026. The price has fallen to the region around €1,650–€1,750, partly due to heavy outflows from the spot Ethereum ETFs. In just a few weeks, hundreds of millions of euros left the funds.
Main reasons
- General risk appetite in the crypto market has declined.
- Selling by whales and a redistribution of positions.
- Competition from other layer-1 and layer-2 networks.
Still, some long-term holders (hodlers) are accumulating in this phase – a potentially positive signal for a later recovery. Ethereum remains the key player in DeFi, smart contracts and Web3.
For active traders, platforms with low fees and deep liquidity offer interesting opportunities for both spot and futures trading.
