1. Who we are and acceptance of these terms

CryptoCode is a trade name of Cryptocodes.eu, the operator of CryptoCode.nl and its associated country sites and domains (together “the site”). Full operator details (imprint) are shown at the bottom of every page.

These terms apply to every visitor and user of the site. By visiting or using the site you accept these terms and the disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Nature of the site — informational, not financial advice

CryptoCode is an independent information, news and comparison platform for crypto promo codes, exchange bonuses, products and market developments. We are not a bank, broker, exchange, payment service, asset manager, investment firm or provider of crypto services.

All content is general in nature and provided for information only. Nothing on the site is financial, tax, legal or investment advice, a personal recommendation, or a solicitation or offer to buy, sell, exchange or hold any crypto-asset or product. We do not take into account your personal situation, knowledge, experience or objectives.

For important decisions, consult an independent, qualified professional adviser where needed.

3. Not a crypto service provider and no offer

We do not custody crypto-assets, do not execute transactions or orders, do not exchange money or crypto, and do not manage funds or wallets for users. You enter into every transaction directly with a third-party provider, under that provider's own terms and supervision.

The site is not a public offering of crypto-assets and not an invitation to one. Information on the site has not been reviewed or approved by any supervisory authority.

4. Affiliate links, partnerships and compensation

The site is funded through affiliate, referral and advertising partnerships. If you open an account, register or make a purchase with a provider via a link, banner or promo button on the site, we may receive compensation. This does not change the price or the terms for you and involves no extra cost.

Sponsored or commercial content is made identifiable as such, and outgoing deals may contain affiliate links. A partnership or compensation does not imply any approval, guarantee or advice as to the quality, safety, lawfulness or suitability of a provider or offer. The order or presentation of providers may be influenced by commercial arrangements and is not a ranking of suitability for you.

5. Accuracy, timeliness and availability of information

Promo codes, bonuses, terms, rates, availability and third-party offers change constantly and may differ by country, by user and over time. Despite our care, we cannot guarantee that information is complete, accurate, current or available at all times; information may be outdated, incomplete or incorrect.

The provider's own current terms always prevail. Always check any offer, code or bonus on the provider's official website before using it. No rights can be derived from obvious errors, typos or outdated information.

6. Third-party offers, bonuses and services

All products, offers, bonuses and services shown on the site are supplied by independent third-party providers. Any agreement about a bonus, code, product or service is concluded solely between you and the relevant provider. We are not a party, intermediary or representative in that agreement.

Handle any questions, complaints, payouts or disputes about a bonus, code, product or service directly with the provider. We are not responsible for whether a bonus is granted or paid out, nor for a provider's acts or omissions.

7. Third-party links and content

The site contains links to and content from third-party websites and services. We have no control over those parties and are not responsible for their content, offers, products, services, terms, security or privacy and cookie policies. A link does not imply a recommendation. Visiting and using third-party services is entirely at your own risk.

8. Risks of crypto-assets

Crypto-assets are highly risky. Their value can fluctuate sharply and quickly, and you may lose your entire investment. Past performance is no guarantee of future results.

Crypto-assets are generally not covered by any deposit guarantee scheme or investor compensation scheme. Transactions may be irreversible, and the sector carries risks of fraud, scams, technical failures and loss of access. The tax consequences of holding or trading crypto-assets are your own responsibility. See also the risk warning shown elsewhere on the site.

9. Your own responsibility

You are responsible for your own decisions and for assessing whether a provider, product or offer is suitable, permitted and safe for you. Always do your own research and never use or invest more than you can afford to lose. Any use of the information on the site is at your own risk.

10. Access, age and acceptable use

The site is intended for adult users (18 years or older). Do not use the site if using crypto services or this site is prohibited or restricted in your country or situation; you are responsible for compliance with local laws and regulations.

You may not misuse the site. Prohibited conduct includes: unlawful or fraudulent use, disrupting or overloading the site, unauthorised data collection (scraping), reverse engineering, circumventing security measures, and infringing our rights or those of third parties.

11. Intellectual property

All content of the site — including text, design, layout, graphics, database and compilation — is protected by intellectual property rights and is owned by the operator or its licensors. You may view the site for personal, non-commercial use; reproduction, duplication, publication or commercial use without prior written permission is not allowed.

Third-party brand names, trade names and logos are used solely for identification and remain the property of their respective owners; their use does not imply any partnership or endorsement unless expressly stated.

12. Availability and changes to the site

We make efforts to keep the site working properly, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue the site, features or content at any time, without prior notice and without being liable for doing so.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for intent or wilful recklessness, or to the extent this is not permitted under mandatory law. If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights remain fully in force; these terms do not affect them.

14. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms from time to time, for example in response to changes in law, regulation or our services. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last change. By continuing to use the site after a change, you accept the amended terms.

15. Governing law, complaints and disputes

These terms and the use of the site are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer resident in another EU country, you retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

Do you have a question or complaint about the site? Please contact us first via the contact page; we will try to resolve it together. If we cannot resolve it, you may bring the matter before the competent court or, where applicable, a competent dispute-resolution or consumer body in your country of residence. Complaints about a specific provider, bonus or service should be handled directly with that provider.

16. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these terms is void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force; the provision concerned will be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to its intent.

These terms, together with our privacy and cookie statement, constitute the entire agreement on the use of the site. These terms are available in several languages; in the event of any discrepancy between language versions, the Dutch version prevails.
