CryptoCode builds solo mining pool for BTC, BCH and dogecoin

CryptoCode is building a solo mining pool for bitcoin, bitcoin cash and dogecoin. The full nodes for all three chains are up and synced, and test runs are going through them now. There is no start date yet.
Solo mining means you share nothing. Find a block and the full block reward plus the transaction fees in that block go to your address. Find none and the day pays nothing. That is the reverse of a shared pool, which pays out a small amount almost daily in proportion to the work delivered.
Why these three coins
Bitcoin and bitcoin cash both run on SHA-256, so the same ASIC works on either. Dogecoin runs on Scrypt and needs different hardware, but at roughly one minute its block time is far shorter than the ten minutes of the other two. For a small miner that shortens the expected wait considerably.
The block rewards come from the protocols themselves: 3.125 BTC, 3.125 BCH and 10,000 DOGE, plus the transaction fees in that block. Bitcoin and bitcoin cash both halve around April 2028. The dogecoin reward has been fixed since 2015 and no longer halves.
What it is not
Solo mining is not income. Your chance per block is your own hashrate divided by the hashrate of the entire network, and for a home miner of a few TH/s against a network measured in exahashes, the expected wait runs to many thousands of years. Small miners have found blocks, but the electricity bill runs whether that happens or not.
Over the long run the expected return of solo and shared mining is roughly the same. The difference is in the spread: a shared pool often pays a small amount, a solo pool almost never pays a large one.
What is not settled yet
The pool fee, the stratum addresses and ports, the minimum payout and the start date have not been decided. They go on the announcement page once they are right and not before: a percentage that has to be taken back later costs more than an empty line.
Anyone who wants to hear it first can join the waiting list on the announcement page. It also carries the full explanation of solo versus shared mining, the figures per chain, and who is better off not starting.
